Terms and Conditions
These terms outline the agreement between The Studio at Maws, operated in collaboration between Dash Agency and Socialite the Agency, and The Client (the person or organisation booking the space). By confirming a booking, The Client agrees to the following conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received. Provisional bookings will not be held without payment.
2. Booking Time
Your booking begins and ends at the confirmed hire time. Late arrival will not extend your session. Late departure will incur a £45 fee.
3. Set-up and Take-down
Set up and take down must be completed within your booked time. Please allow adequate time for both to avoid additional charges.
4. Use of the Studio
The Studio may be used for photography, filming, podcasting and general content creation.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere indoors.
All equipment provided must be handled with care and returned in its original condition.
Written consent is required before removing or altering any studio fixtures or equipment.
5. Condition of the Space
The Studio and any shared areas must be left in the same condition they were found.
A cleaning fee of £45 will apply if additional cleaning is required beyond normal use.
6. Equipment and Damage
All equipment remains the property of The Studio at Maws.
The Client is responsible for any loss, breakage or damage caused during the booking and will be charged for repair or replacement.
Any concerns about the condition of the equipment must be raised before use.
Backdrops marked or damaged beyond standard wear will be charged at £10 per metre.
7. Liability
The Studio at Maws cannot accept responsibility for personal injury, damage, loss or theft of property during your session.
Clients are advised to hold their own public liability insurance and are fully responsible for anyone they invite into the space.
8. Cancellations and Changes
We understand plans can change.
- Cancellations or reschedules with more than 7 days’ notice: full refund or reschedule.
- 3–7 days’ notice: reschedule at no charge; or cancel with the full fee retained.
- 1–3 days’ notice: reschedule with a 50% rebooking fee, or cancel with the full fee retained.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: no refunds or reschedules.
Bookings may be rescheduled once only.
If The Studio at Maws must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
9. Behaviour and Conduct
Respect for the space and surrounding studios is essential. Aggressive, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in immediate termination of your booking without refund.
10. Noise
Please keep sound levels at a considerate volume for neighbouring studios and residents. Persistent noise may result in your booking being ended without a refund.
11. Variations
These terms may be updated at any time. The version in place at the time of booking will apply.
12. Applicable Law
All agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
